NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL RESOURCES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 31st, 2023 at 1:30 PM CST High Pointe Apartments will hold a public hearing at Blair Public Library 2233 Civic Drive Blair, Ne 68008 as applicable concerning an application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for a Nebraska Affordable Housing Program Grant for a HOME. This grant is available for local affordable housing activities. High Pointe Apartments is requesting up to $750,000 that could include HOME for the construction of 27 Units of affordable rental housing (21 affordable units & 6 market rate) at Hansen Drive and Angels Share Drive of which all funds requested shall benefit 21 low- and moderate-income individuals. The total project cost is projected around $7,432,842. The other funds will include $4,139,120 in Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), 1,564,588 AHTC, $1,200,000 Loan, $400,000 in owner proceeds. No persons will be displaced as part of this project. The grant application will available for public inspection at the office of Straightline Development at 16255 Woodland Dr, Omaha, Ne 68136. All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing at which time you will have an opportunity to be heard regarding the grant application. Written testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing scheduled for July 31st, 2023 at 1:30 PM.
