NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE BONDS FORT CALHOUN DRAINAGE DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that the Fort Calhoun Drainage District in the State of Nebraska (the “District”), a political subdivision and drainage district duly organized and existing under Sections 31-401 et seq, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska, as amended, intends to issue its Bond Anticipation Notes, Series 2022 (the “Notes”), in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $2,750,000. The District is issuing the Notes to pay for the Public Improvement Project adopted on October 10, 2022, including (a) the interim costs of constructing improvements to the District’s drainage system relating to damage incurred because of 2019 flooding within the District, and (b) the related professional costs associated with issuing the Notes.
