The Norris Titans visited Blair's Stemmermann Park on Monday and secured a 5-0 tennis dual victory.
Coach David Christensen's Bears scored just one unscored victory during the Eastern Midlands Conference matchup. In No. 6 singles, Josie Kros beat a Titan 8-4.
BHS' Angela Roehrs, Hadyn Ferguson, Ally Sullivan, Roslyn Solano and Lissy Spangler, however, fell short in singles play. Roehrs was the closest to victory, dropping her No. 1 singles match 8-5.
In doubles competition, the Blair pairing of Spangler and Jo Inget fell just 8-5, too. Sullivan and Abby Leggott, meanwhile, lost 8-4, and Kenzie Policky and Andi Hume were outhit 8-1.
Ferguson and Roehrs dropped a doubles match to Norris, too, 8-2.
The Bears were scheduled to play varsity matches against Bennington on Thursday and next compete at home Tuesday against Waverly. The Vikings play their first matches Coach Christensen's team starting at 4 p.m.
