Two days after a loss to Concordia High School in Omaha, the Blair boys basketball team bounced back with a win against Roncalli in the same city.
The Bears (10-11 overall) beat the Crimson Pride by 11, 64-53.
Coach Chris Whitwer's team earned a hearty first half lead, 34-23, and held it during the second. Post player Bo Meier led all scorers, producing 20 points with nine baskets, including two 3-pointers.
Freshman Kalan Steinbeck added 17 points, scoring six from beyond the arc and two from the foul line, while senior guard Cooper Sorensen scored 11.
Blair plays at Elkhorn tonight in its regular season finale.
No. 2 Concordia bests Bears
BHS dropped a 65-46 game to Class C1 No. 2 Omaha Concordia last Thursday.
The Mustangs held just a one-point advantage 8 minutes in, but took control of the game with a 24-12 second period. Drew Kulus led the way for the home team, scoring a game-high 28 points.
Steinbeck, meanwhile, led the Bears with 14 points in defeat. The freshman started slow, but scored 12 points during the second half.
Brevin Leggott, meanwhile, hit two 3-pointers and had 10 points for Coach Whitwer's squad.
