Senior Trent Koger scored 25 points Friday as the Arlington boys basketball team earned a 64-52 home win against Conestoga.
The Eagles led by just two points going into the final quarter, but won by 12 after outscoring the Cougars 19-9 across the last 8 minutes. AHS is 11-8 overall this season, while Conestoga dropped to 7-11 in defeat.
Koger scored seven of his 25 points during the final period, and seven points from the foul line for the game. The post player was 7-for-8 altogether on free throws during the win.
Oliver Ladehoff and Schuyler Logemann, meanwhile, combined for 31 more points against the Cougars. Ladehoff finished with 16, including 14 after halftime, and Logemann scored 15 with a first-period 3-point make.
The Eagles next play at Plattsmouth today before a home game against Louisville on Friday. The latter game tips off at approximately 7:30 p.m.
