Washington County's American Legion baseball season started with two games in Fort Calhoun last week.
The Zig Drywall Post 348 Juniors won back-to-back games Wednesday and Thursday. First, the Pioneers beat the Millard Sox Juniors Black 7-2 first before an 11-5 win against the Millard Sox Reserve Gold second.
Fort Calhoun's season was scheduled to continue Monday with Junior and Senior Legion games against Waterloo-Valley before today's 5:30 and 8 p.m. games at Syracuse.
On Wednesday, Arlington and Blair begin their Legion seasons. The Post 71 Eagles play Junior and Senior games at West Point starting at 5:30 p.m., while the Post 154 Bears host Ashland in their own 5:30 Junior-Senior doubleheader.
