The Class B No. 10 Blair girls soccer team improved to 5-0 Tuesday with their tightest win to date.
The Bears beat previously unbeaten Elkhorn North on the road, 5-2. The Eastern Midlands Conference match ended their four-game run of shutouts, but they'll still outscored their opposition 35-2 this season.
Freshman Cadence Field led BHS with three goals against the Wolves, pushing her season total to 13. Senior Brynn Ray, meanwhile, added two goals to her own season total — six.
The Bears' Kaitlynn O'Neil, Claire Anderson, Taytum Macholan and Kaylie Johnson all notched assists during the three-goal win, too. Anderson, a junior, led the way with two, while goalkeeper Brooklyn Schroeter earned the win between the posts.
Coach Nick Hall's team was scheduled to play Thursday at Lincoln Standing Bear and next competes 11 a.m. Saturday against Class A Omaha Westview at home.
