Kaylee Taylor will represent Fort Calhoun High School one last time on the diamond during the 20th Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Softball Game. The Pioneers senior was announced as a 2025 participant Friday. She'll play for either the Red or Blue team July 21 at Bowlin Stadium in Lincoln. The game starts at 6 p.m. Taylor earned Class C first-team all-state honors this past fall Fort Calhoun reached its first state tournament. The outfielder hit at a .574 average, scoring 56 runs with 62 hits and 33 stolen bases. She set seven school records during the course of the season. Taylor, who also competes in basketball and track and field, signed to join the Nebraska Wesleyan track and field program next fall after her FCHS graduation in May.
