Seven Blair High School softball players earned recognition recently with the release of the Eastern Midlands Conference (EMC) all-conference teams.
Four Bears earned first-team honors, including senior pitcher Brooke Janning, who also earned All-Nebraska recognition from the Omaha World-Herald this month. All-staters Laynie Brown and Mia McClain received first-team EMC recognition, too, as did catcher junior catcher Jacy Schueth.
BHS' Emmi Hall, Kaitlynn O'Neil and Taytum Macholan received EMC honorable mention as well.
Coach Jennifer Fangmeier's Bears finished their 2024 season at the Class B state tournament, ending the year with a 31-9 overall record.
