Diana K. Snavely, age 73 of Blair, passed away Feb. 19, 2024 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 23 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair.
Diana was born July 11, 1950 in Logan, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Irene Johnson. She was raised in Missouri Valley and Blair. Diana attended Blair Community Schools for her education. On June 2, 1982 she was united in marriage to William Lee Snavely. Diana enjoyed being a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair. She was active in the Special Olympics and excelled in swimming and bowling.
Diana is survived by her brothers: Richard (Nancy) Johnson and Randy (Joan) Johnson; nieces: Laurie (Mathew) Plowman, Amy (Mark) Gustafson and Emily Johnson; nephews: Alex Johnson and Andrew (Amanda) Johnson; great niece Jocelyn Plowman; great nephew Luke Gustafson; several special cousins, extended family and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her husband William and her parents.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Special Olympics.
