Dana Village to open with ribbon cutting Friday

Posted

A new era for the former Dana College campus will be unveiled Friday from 10 a.m. to noon during a ribbon cutting.

Following the acquisition of the Dana campus by Lutheran Family Services in October, Dana Village will be home to youth aging out of the foster care system. There are 61 dorms open for this population.

Gov. Jim Pillen and other representatives will be in attendance to make remarks, followed by mini tours of the establishment. Refreshments will also be available.
