The Fort Calhoun High School golf team earned third Tuesday during a home triangular with Wahoo and Ashland-Greenwood at River Wilds Golf Club.
The victorious Wahoo Warriors finished with 167 strokes across nine holes, while the Bluejays carded 174 and coach Dustin Humphrey's Pioneers had 222. A Fort Calhoun junior varsity lineup finished with 241 swings, too, while a reserve team carded 293.
Adam Elofson led FCHS with 51 strokes across River Wilds' back nine holes. Tysen Sunderman added 53 to the varsity lineup's total, while Beau Ruma carded 58. Korbin Klein and Aiden Husk added 60 and 69 strokes, respectively.
Caden Newman, meanwhile, led Coach Humphrey's JV squad with 54 swings across nine holes. Aaron Melville had 60, too, while Will Duros carded 62 strokes and Jackson Fuhrman finished with 65. Anthony Larimore shot a 66 as well.
The Pioneers' reserve lineup was comprised of Kylee Ashby, Gage Beckenhauer, Ray Caruso and Tucker Hanford. Hanford finished with 68 swings, while Caruso had 69, Beckenhauer finished with 73 and Ashby carded an 83.
The overall low score of the triangular belonged to Ashland's Justin Mills. He finished holes 10-18 with just 35 strokes.
FCHS was scheduled to play its first varsity tournament of the season Wednesday in Valley before an invite in Leigh on April 16.
