Breakthrough FHS soccer season ends

3 Arlington athletes contribute to winning campaign

The NSAA's online girls soccer archives go back 21 years.
According to those records, Fremont just finished up its winningest season in more than two decades. The second-seeded Tigers lost a 2-0 Class A District 2 Tournament game to No. 3 Papillion-La Vista South on Tuesday at Fremont Middle School. The loss ends FHS' spring at 9-7 overall.
Arlington student-athletes Grace Siver, Gwen Bostwick and Addy Beam were all contributing varsity players for the Tigers this season through the schools' 2-year-old co-op in soccer. Siver, a senior, closes her prep career after helping lead her team to four more wins than it earned in 2024 when it went 5-13.
Bostwick, a sophomore, and Beam, a freshman, will still have eligibility remaining next season. Both are multi-sport athletes who played AHS softball last fall. Beam wrestled during the winter months, too.
