The Blair High School Unified bowling team capped its inaugural season Monday during the Class B District 4 Tournament at Wildcat Lanes in Wayne.
The Bears finished third out of eight teams, finishing with a total pinfall of 649 through six Baker trio games. Wayne took first with a score of 785, winning the tournament and qualifying for Monday's NSAA Unified Sports Bowling Championships at Sun Valley Lanes & Games in Lincoln.
Osmond, meanwhile, earned second at Wildcat Lanes with 682 pins, while Omaha Nationa (644), Winnebago (629), West Point-Beemer (546), Randolph (483) and Bloomfield (NA) finished behind coach Monica Maly's BHS squad.
Overall, six Class B district tournaments were contested with each of the six district champions moving along onto state. Two wild card teams with the next two highest scores across all districts qualified, too.
