The Blair High School tennis team fell short of a single victory Tuesday during an Eastern Midlands Conference (EMC) dual at Elkhorn.
The Antlers won all five scored varsity matches and all 12 matches contested.
BHS singles players Fiene Bakker and Roslyn Solano played the tightest matches for coach David Christensen's team. Bakker lost an 8-4 No. 2 singles match to Paulina Fomicheva, while Solano fell to Ruby Lamski by the same score.
In doubles play, the Bears' Leah Chance and Shelby Wolff played the closest match between the two EMC schools. They lost 8-1 to Lamski and Jada Freeland at No. 2 doubles.
Blair next plays varsity matches Tuesday against Waverly. The road dual starts at 4 p.m.
Before that matchup, though, the Bears host reserve matches against Hastings on Monday at 4 p.m.
