Blair Special Olympics competed Sunday during the East Regional Track & Field meet in Elkhorn.
David Harkey, Nathan Tanderup, Bradley Dunham, Matthew Dryden and Megan Bailey all earned top-three event finishes there, coach Dixie Trevarthen said. Harkey was first in both the 400- and 800-meter walks, while Tanderup secured first in the 200-meter run to go with his second-place result in the 100.
Dunham earned a gold medal in the softball throw and Dryden was second in the 50-meter dash. Megan Bailey's top finishes came during the 100 and 200 when she took third twice.
Blair competed in state bowling competition at the beginning of April, too, securing two gold medals, two sliver medals and a bronze medal during the event.
