The Blair Senior Legion baseball team scored the game-winning run during the seventh inning, topping Waterloo-Valley on the road Tuesday night, 5-4.
Tanner Jacobson scored the winning run and two overall for Post 154. He had one hit, too, while Greyson Kay and Lucas Matejka each led the Bears with a 2-for-3 games at the plate.
J'Shawn Unger — who also struck out two batters in an inning of pitching work — doubled, too, as Blair outhit its host 9-7.
Blaine Rosenbaum, however, pitched six innings, striking out five batters for Post 154. He allowed just two earned runs and four overall.
Blair was scheduled to host Fort Calhoun on Wednesday and competes today, Saturday and Sunday during the annual Lewis & Clark Tournament in Yankton, S.D.
The Blair Juniors, meanwhile, lost at Waterloo-Valley on Tuesday, 6-2. They were to play Fort Calhoun on Wednesday, and host Omaha Gross today at 7 p.m.
