Blair Little League starts postseason tournaments

Championships set for next Tuesday

The A's and Red Sox played to the time limit Tuesday on Wederquist Field.
The A's left the Blair Little League Majors Division postseason game 5-4 winners, advancing along in their bracket. The Little League playoffs started Monday and will conclude next Tuesday night at the Blair Youth Sports Complex.
There are three age divisions in Little League play. The Minors started off the week Monday with a pair of games and both the Rockies and A's earned victories. The Rockies beat the Red Sox 8-5, while the Yankees fell short against the A's, 8-4.
The Majors and Rookies then started a day later with their brackets. The aforementioned Majors Division A's were among the victors.
Play continued Wednesday and Thursday with championship games set for next week Tuesday. The Minors title game starts at 6 p.m. on Wederquist Field before the Majors contest at 8:30. The Rookies' championship is set for 6:30 p.m. on Healthy Human Field at the Youth Sports Complex.
