The Blair Junior Legion baseball team started Eastern Nebraska Baseball League (ENBL) Tournament play Tuesday with a five-inning, 16-4 rout.
Post 154 bested Omaha Concordia in Hickman, advancing onto the site finals. It led throughout, scoring five runs during the top of the first inning.
Blair was scheduled to play Hickman on Wednesday with a chance to reach the overall ENBL finals from there. Results will appear in next Tuesday's Washington County Pilot-Tribune edition.
Against Concordia, Barrett Brown and Nathan Murray combined to plate two of the first three Post 154 runs. Another scored on an error off of the bat of Lane Christensen before Easton Kosch pushed across his squad's fifth run.
From there, Blair never led by any less than three scores. It added two of its own during the second inning and three in the fourth before jumping out ahead by 12 runs with six during the top of the fifth frame.
On Sunday, Post 154 also wrapped up a 2-2 Millard Sox JV Tournament run with a 7-6 win against the Gretna East Griffs. Colin Jacobitz plated the winning run with a sacrifice bunt during the seventh inning, according to GameChanger.
