Eight Blair Bears combined to score 10 goals Tuesday as the Class B No. 10 girls soccer team improved to 8-0 with its seventh shutout.
Coach Nick Hall's squad scored seven first-half goals and three more during the early stages of the second, besting its host — Plattsmouth — by mercy rule. BHS has now won four of its eight matches by 10-0 scores.
Brynn Ray and Cadence Field scored two goals apiece for Blair against the Blue Devils, while six more Bears scored one each. The goal scorers were Laynie Brown, Claire Anderson, Emmi Hall, Kailey Nelson, Aubrie McBreen and Kaitlynn O'Neil.
Seven of Coach Hall's players notched assists, too. Brown and Beau Wendt had two apiece, while Anderson, Lindsey Moeller, Renn Dresden, Maddie Kempcke and O'Neil had one each.
The Bears were scheduled to host Gretna on Thursday and next play No. 1 Gretna East on Monday.
