The Class B No. 7 Blair High School girls basketball team lost its 14-point halftime lead and, ultimately, Thursday's game at Plattsmouth.
The 8-4 Blue Devils trailed 27-13 at the break, but outscored the Bears 30-12 during the second half of their 43-39 win. The loss dropped coach Matt Aschoff's BHS squad to 5-5 overall.
The Bears built their first-half advantage with a breakout, 17-3 second period. Addie Sullivan hit a straightaway 3-pointer as the half's clock wound down.
In the third quarter, though, Blair managed just two points — free throws by Kate Wulf. Plattsmouth cut into the road team's lead in the meantime and finished the job during the 17-10 fourth quarter.
Sullivan led the Bears with 19 points in defeat, while Wulf finished with 10 and Cadence Field scored seven. Taytum Macholan scored three points as well.
Averi Winters, meanwhile, led the Devils to victory with 17 points. Jolie Dix notched 15, too.
BHS next plays 5:30 p.m. today at home against Gretna.
