The Blair High School girls basketball team celebrated its seniors Tuesday by ending its four-game losing streak.
The Bears bested Lincoln Northwest 46-17 before honoring 12th-graders Leah Chance, Joslyn Policky, Marin Sather and Sophia Wrich at home. Dance team members Alexis Hanson, Alexis Warner and Hannah Wolff were also recognized during a brief ceremony between varsity basketball games at BHS.
Coach Matt Aschoff's squad earned its first win since Dec. 29 by holding the Falcons to their fourth lowest point total of the season. The Bears gave up just two points after halftime.
Offensively, Gueryn Kay led Blair with nine points. The freshman made two 3-pointers, a 2-pointer and a free throw.
