BHS freshman makes All-EMC basketball team

Blair High School basketball freshman Brevin Leggott was one of three Bears recently recognized as an All-Eastern Midlands Conference (EMC) performer this past season.
The first-team guard selection averaged 12.6 points per game, according to statistics posted at maxpreps.com. He made 44 percent of his field goal attempts and shot 35 percent from 3-point range.
Leggott also averaged 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game during his ninth-grade season.
Blair's Bo Meier and Kalan Steinbeck, meanwhile, claimed honorable mention from the EMC. Meier averaged 11.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists each game during his junior season.
Steinbeck, another freshman, produced averages of 13 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists from December through February. His Bears went 10-13 this past season, closing out the campaign with a subdistrict tournament loss to Bennington.
