The Blair High School dance team accepted a $1,500 contribution from Sid Dillon Chevrolet on Dec. 20 during the Bears' basketball game with Hastings.
Blair Community Schools partners with Sid Dillon on the Chevy Youth Sports program, a near-nationwide partnership program built to position Chevrolet as the Official Vehicle of Youth Sports as explained to the crowd by announcer Scott Flynn that night. Chevy's mission, according to its website, is “empowering kids through the power of play.”
Sid Dillon chose the BHS dance team for its most recent contribution. It is to assist with registration fees, equipment costs, facility maintenance and other administrative fees.
