The Blair boys soccer team overcame a slow start to win on the road Tuesday evening.
Omaha North scored a 2-0 lead during the first half, but the Bears earned a 3-2 victory in overtime.
“Found a way to play better after coming out extremely flat,” BHS coach Curt Scott said.
Senior Quinn Baedke scored two goals to force extra time, while Sakuto Yamada scored the game-winning goal during the first overtime period. Their efforts pushed the Bears' season record to 4-3 overall.
Coach Scott's team was scheduled to play at Ralston on Thursday and next competes Monday during the first round of the Eastern Midlands Conference Tournament. Matchups were not officially announced as of press time.
