Hayden Daggett, Jade Wickwire and a Blair Bears 3,200-meter relay team won events Thursday during the Lincoln Northwest Falcon Invite.
Coach Bryan Soukup's track and field girls tied for second overall with Plattsmouth in the team standings, while the boys took fifth. Omaha Skutt, meanwhile, earned both team titles in Lincoln by 29 and 16 points, respectively.
Daggett, notably, led BHS with a pair of sprint victories. He won the 200-meter dash in 22.43 seconds as well as the 400 dash in 50.85.
The Bear — who earned third in the high jump, too — also contributed to a second-place finish in the 1,600 relay with Declan McCabe, Colin McCabe and Chase Cottle. The team clocked in at 3:41.16.
Wickwire, however, secured an event win in the girls' 3,200-meter run. The Missouri Western recruit finished eight laps around the Falcons' track in 12:47.01.
Wickwire's first laps at Northwest, however, were in the 3,200 relay. She joined Jordan McGill, Kate Wulf and Lainey Bilau for a race win in 10:32.75.
Hailey Roewert, meanwhile, earned a second-place Blair finish in the girls' high jump. She cleared 5 feet, 4 inches, which is the second-best recorded height in school history.
Emma Ammon was third in the high jump behind Roewert, while Brynn Lundgren (100 and 200 dashes), Ali Wheeler (pole vault), Jacy Schueth (pole vault) and Colin McCabe (100 and 400 dashes) also secured bronze medals during the meet.
The Bears' next invitational appearance is 12:30 p.m. today at Plattsmouth.
