Arlington team moves to 2-0 in FBL play

The Arlington Armadillos of the Farmland Basketball League (FBL) moved to 2-0 with a Dec. 22 win against West Point.
The Armadillos secured the victory 77-67 with Clint Belina scoring a team-best 14 points, according to a league release. Jalen Hueser and Trevor Toebben added 13 apiece, while Jake Conn finished with nine.
Connor Eurek scored eight points for Arlington, too, while Cameron Mengedoht had seven, and both Nick Engelbart and Skyler Andrews notched five. In addition, Ben Fullner and TJ Stosich added two and one points against West Point, respectively.
The FBL-leading Armadillos were scheduled to play Sunday, but results were unavailable as of press time. They next compete Jan. 5 at Wisner.
