The Nebraska Capitol Conference (NCC) Girls Basketball Tournament's top seed added one more league win Tuesday before bracket play begins.
The Arlington Eagles (12-3 overall) led throughout, besting Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (7-8) on the road, 49-32. AHS next plays 6 p.m. Tuesday at home against the winner of a play-in tourney game between Douglas County West and Conestoga.
Against the Raiders, though, Britt Nielsen and Emme Timm led Arlington's effort with 13 points apiece. The duo combined for one 3-pointer, seven 2s and nine made free throws.
Hailey O'Daniel added nine Eagle points and Macy Wolf scored eight, too. Their team allowed Logan View within 10 points once during the fourth period, but put it away from there.
Keegan Francis, however, led the Raiders with eight points in defeat. They are the NCC's sixth-seeded team, facing Yutan during the first round of the tournament.
