The Arlington Spartans town team earned its first win of the Dodge County Baseball League season Sunday in North Bend.
The Spartans topped the Benders 3-1, snapping a six-game losing streak to start the summer season. They were close in their previous game, falling 17-16 to Dodge, but came through on the road last weekend.
Arlington was scheduled to play at Wahoo on Thursday and next competes Sunday at home against the Scribner Hogs. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

After an off week due to the Fourth of July holiday, the Blair Dawgs town team gets back to Omaha Adult Baseball League play again Sunday. At 10:30 a.m., they'll host the Dodgers at Vets Field.
Blair is 2-4 this season.
