Arlington golfers play Platteview Golf Club

Arlington golfers played 18 holes at Platteview Golf Club on Monday during a junior varsity tournament.
The Eagles finished 14th with 471 strokes, while Blair finished with 495 swings in 16th place. Tyler Anthofer led coach Landon Walkenhorst's AHS team, carding 110 strokes, while Hunter Wallace and Johnathan Taylor each finished with 114.
Arlington's Nate Erwin and Jordan Camden had 133 and 135 strokes, respectively.
Bennington, meanwhile, won the Trojans' tournament with 344 strokes combined. Papillion-La Vista South was second with a 374.
The Eagles were scheduled to compete Wednesday at North Bend Golf Course and Thursday during their home tourney at River Wilds Golf Club. They next play 18 holes 9 a.m. May 2 during the Nebraska Capitol Conference Tournament.
