Arlington girls wrestle to 4th at NBC Invite

Ireland Erixon and Kelise Krivohlavek won their weight classes Saturday as the Arlington girls and boys wrestling teams competed at the North Bend Central Invite.
Both first-place finishers went unbeaten, pushing the Eagle girls to a third-place team finish. The boys, meanwhile, took 11th.
Erixon was 2-0 at 106 pounds, topping Logan View's Gracie Reynolds twice. She won a 14-13 decision first before pinning the Raider in 1:19.
Krivohlavek, meanwhile, went 3-0 with three pins. She is 4-3 this season.
Also claiming podium spots for the Arlington girls were Carisa Brazelton (second at 190 pounds), Jaydin Allen (third at 145) and Caitlyn Camp (fourth at 170).
On the boys' side, Trey Hill led the Eagles with his second-place effort at 113 pounds. The former state qualifier went 2-1, securing two pins before North Bend Central's Cashtin Stanek pinned him in the finals.
Jake Flesner and Kolton Gilmore added AHS fourth-place finishes, too. Flesner went 2-2 at 106 pounds, winning a pair of 6-minute consolation matches. He beat Axton Lantz of Wisner-Pilger 7-0 before claiming an 11-2 major decision against Emmett Cooley of Lincoln Christian.
Gilmore, meanwhile, was 3-2 at 160 pounds. The Eagle secured two pins and a 2-1 decision before Jake Hunke of North Bend topped him 3-1 in the third-place match.
Arlington's Aiden McDuffee, Daniel Cook-Krivohlavek and Brodie Wilkins picked up a win apiece during the all-day Saturday tournament, too. Their team next competes in a 6:15 p.m. dual today at Elkhorn.
