The Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week were at it again.
Bode Soukup, Raeann Massey and Tessa Spivey impressed this week, putting up competitive numbers and making headlines with their efforts.
Congratulations to them.

Bode Soukup, Blair football: The senior quarterback threw four first-half touchdown passes — including one while he took a hit — and pushed the Bears to a 42-7 homecoming game victory. One of his TD tosses went to Ethan Baessler, who earns special mention for his second kickoff return for a score this season.

Raeann Massey, Fort Calhoun cross-country: The freshman continued a standout first high school season with the Pioneers’ best home result Thursday. She was third in 20:59.9 at Fort Atkinson. Special mention goes to three of her teammates — Lawson Tjardes, Will Dennis and Travis Skelton — who also earned top-10 finishes at home.

Tessa Spivey, Arlington softball: The Eagles pitcher notched 15 strikeouts Saturday against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, helping break AHS’ five-game losing streak. The pitching win earned Spivey’s team a spot in the Nebraska Capitol Conference Tournament semifinals.

Congrats again to these standouts, and thanks for reading.
