Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athlete of the Week performances keep happening.
We’ve got three more to celebrate today with Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun all represented. The overall Washington County Athlete of the Week will appear in a video interview on enterprisepub.com/sports later this week.
First, though, here’s our honorees.

Nessa McMillen, Blair softball: After a home run during the subdistrict round, the Bears’ shortstop reached base seven times in 11 innings of district finals softball against Crete. She had three RBIs with two extra-base hits and was so productive that the Cardinals intentionally walked her during the second game of the series.

Weston Wollberg, Arlington football: The Eagles’ leading tackler added 14 against the Schuyler Warriors, finishing with eight unassisted. The AHS senior has 34 total tackles this fall with a sack and two fumble recoveries.

Austin Welchert, Fort Calhoun football: The Pioneers’ quarterback played to the end of Thursday’s game against Omaha Roncalli, scoring on a second half run and throwing a 36-yard touchdown pass to Grayson Bouwman.
