12 AHS, FCHS basketball players earn All-NCC honors

3 Eagles make 1st team

Arlington High School's Emme Timm, Britt Nielsen and Trent Koger were three of 12 Washington County hoopers recently recognized on All-Nebraska Capitol Conference (NCC) basketball teams.
All three secured first-team status.
Timm and Nielsen were honored on the girls' all-conference team alongside Yutan's Mylee Tichota and Amelia Dieckman, Raymond Central's Kenzie TenEyck and Jayden Meyer of Syracuse. Timm, a junior, averaged 14.7 points, 6.2 assists and 3.2 steals per game, according to stats posted to maxpreps.com.
Nielsen, a senior, led the Eagles to their first Class C1 state tournament since 2001 with a 17.2 scoring average. She also pulled down 7.6 rebounds per game.
Second-team honorees on the girls' side were AHS' Macy Wolf and Fort Calhoun's Raeann Massey. Massey scored 11.9 points per game, while Wolf scored at a 11.3 clip.
The Pioneers' Ansley Elofson (9.5 points per game) and Maelie Nelson (7.1) earned honorable mention from the NCC, too.

Koger leads 6 on boys' team
Koger headlined Washington County's inclusion on the boys' All-NCC first team. He was joined on the squad by Douglas County West's Nolan Asher, Will Janssen of Syracuse, Yutan's Ryan Maguire, Jace Ostblom of Louisville and Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's Grayson Krause.
Koger, the Eagles' all-time leading scorer, finished his senior season with an 18.4 per-game average. He also pulled down 11.8 rebounds and tallied 3.5 blocks per game.
Arlington's Oliver Ladehoff was on the conference's second team as was Fort Calhoun's Adam Elofson. Ladehoff averaged 14.3 points per game, while Elofson tallied 8.4 with five rebounds and 4.1 assists.
Two Pioneers — Kade Foy (9.5 points per game) and Travis Skelton (8.2) — and an Eagle — Schuyler Logemann (10.3) — also claimed honorable mention from the NCC.
