This fall, Yutan/Mead won the regular season title, Fort Calhoun claimed the tournament title and Douglas County West earned second in Class C, falling to Wahoo Neumann on Monday in Omaha. Altogether, 11 Arlington and FCHS players received postseason recognition.
The Pioneers' Kaylee Taylor, Tacey Belina and Anna Taylor all earned first-team honors from the NCC, while Eagles Kallan Reed and Britt Nielsen did, too.
