The spring sports season enters its final month, but not before we honor three Nannen & Harte Physical Therapy Athletes of the Week for their end-of-April achievements. Kaylee Taylor, Jacob Meehan and Easton Chaffee are certainly three worthy Washington County student-athletes.
Kaylee Taylor, Fort Calhoun track: The Pioneer swept the long and triple jumps during her team’s home invite before a pair of bronze-medal efforts at the Nebraska Capitol Conference meet. Her best jumps of the week were 15 feet, 10.5 inches in the long and 34-1 in the triple.
Jacob Meehan, Arlington golf: The Eagle shot his season-low score in the rain at Fremont Golf Club. He took fourth with 84 strokes during the Arlington Invite after taking 93 swings in North Bend earlier in the week.
Easton Chaffee, Blair golf: The senior shot a team-low 85 strokes on Saturday in Oakland, but won the Skutt Invite with a 3-over par 75 on Tuesday. The Bear made three birdies.
