All Tuesday events called off

Weather impacted the Washington County high school sports schedule Monday and Tuesday, limiting Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun to just one contested event altogether.
The BHS boys soccer team played Monday at Elkhorn North, dropping a 5-0 Eastern Midlands Conference matchup in the wind and cold. The Bears did not play Tuesday, however, and neither did the Blair girls, who were scheduled to compete both days.
Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun all lost baseball games to the winter-like weather as well, while a BHS tennis dual and an Arlington track meet at West Point-Beemer were also postponed.
Make-up dates were set for many of the events with some happening as early as Wednesday and Thursday . Others were pushed back to later dates, including some in April.
There were traces of snow on the ground in Blair on Tuesday and the tennis courts at Stemmermann Park were filled with puddles during the morning hours.
