The Blair Youth Shooting Sports (BYSS) range played host to an Eastern Cornhusker Trapshooting Conference (ECTC) shoot Saturday.
While it was technically Elkhorn's Senior Division invitational, the hometown young marksmen and women had, arguably, the most success. BYSS' Target Terminators earned honors as the high overall team, while Revlyn Rasmussen — who went 86-for-100 — was the high overall female and Kalvin Kies was second only to Elkhorn Mount Michael's William Nihsen in the high overall standings. Nihsen finished 96-for-100, while Kies took out 94 targets with his shotgun.
The Target Terminators — Kies, Riley Brodersen, Tyler Hume, Triston Clausen and Harry Kies — were first in the handicap team category, too, while BYSS' Clay Busters — Morgan Shaner, Gavin Baker, Michael Amandus, Rory Hiser and Tyler Behnk — were second.
Jaydyn Backamn of Blair was first in her category of the 16-yard shoot, taking out 48 of 50 targets, while Alyssa Lode was first among all female trapshooters in the handicap event.
Blair's Amandus, Harry Kies, Baker, Brodersen, Clausen and Kalvin Kies earned top-three finishes from their handicap distances, too.
Though they didn't secure awards, BYSS' Elijah Tabor (92-for-100), Gaige Bolton (88), Evan Brodersen (87), Hayden White (86) and Aaron Hinman (82) took out better than 80 percent of their targets, too.
Wyatt Flesner, Colton Indra and Jared Adams, meanwhile, led Fremont in Blair with top-three finishes in their events. Kellen Shelton, however, went 91-for-100 to lead the team in the overall standings.
Fremont's Brayden Stonehocker of Arlington was 90-for-100, too, while Wyatt Widman shot 89 target and Zane Gerrish took out 88.
Arlington's Kaleb Dowling (88-for-100), Kevin Flesner (88), Shane Japp (85), Tate Johannes (84), John VonBehren (81) and Jake Flesner (80) shot 80 percent or better, too.
The Seniors' ECTC season continues for BYSS and Fremont on Saturday with a shoot in Bellevue.

Juniors shoot at Papillion
The ECTC North Divisions Juniors competed Saturday in Papillion, too.
A Blair Crushers — Tregan Baker, Landy Benoit, Greyson Nichols, Jackson Kempcke and Ryker Villwok — team took fifth, while the Fremont Black lineup — Drake Daubert, Hudson Knoell, Cade Lynch, Trenton Hansen and Sam Henggeler — took first with 209 downed targets.
Baker led Blair in the overall standings, shooting 45-for-50, while Benoit hit 42 targets and Devon Lantry added 39.
