BYSS earns multiple 1st-place honors

Target Terminators earn high overall honors

Blair Youth Shooting Sports' Riley Brodersen, Revlyn Rasmussen, Harry Kies and the Target Terminators earned top finishes as the Eastern Cornhusker Trapshooting Conference schedule took them to Ashland Gun Club on Saturday.
Brodersen was the 16-yard champion, taking out all 50 of the 50 clay targets he aimed his shotgun at. Rasmussen, meanwhile, was the high overall female and took first in the handicaps shoot, going 47-for-50.
Kies was first from 22-23 yards, too, and joined Brodersen, Kalvin Kies, Triston Clausen and Evan Brodersen in the Target Terminators lineup. Together they shot 441 targets for high overall honors. They finished second from 16 yards, too.
Additionally, Blair's Jaydyn Backman took second from 16 yards, going 47-for-50. Anissa Hill added a third-place finish from 18-19 yards and Gavin Baker was third from 20-21.
Aaron Pierce finished third from 22-23 yards as well.

Fremont shoots at Valley
The Fremont trapshooting team and their Arlington marksmen and women competed at the Valley range on Saturday.
Wyatt Widman of Arlington was 92-for-100 on clay targets, claiming second in the handicap shoot with a 48-for-50 mark. His Fremont teammate, Kellon Shelton, added a first-place finish from 20-21 yards.
In addition, Cooper Staats was 89-for-100 overall, while Kaleb Dowling took out 88 targets.

Juniors shoot at Papillion
The BYSS and Fremont trapshooting Juniors were at the Papillion range Saturday.
Drake Daubert of Fremont was first in the high overall standings. Jackson Kempcke produced BYSS' top numbers, going 41-for-50, too.
