Blair Knights of Columbus free throw champion Will Whitwer took his basketball skills to Grand Island on Saturday and won.
The fourth-grader claimed his division's title during the Nebraska State Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition. He's also won local, district and regional free-throw-shooting events, according to Dave Kaslon.
Whitwer is the son of Sara and Chris Whitwer, Blair High School's head boys basketball coach.
