Five individuals facing drug charges accepted plea agreements Tuesday in Washington County District Court to qualify for District 6 Drug Court:
• Anthony Knowlton, 35, of Arlington pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance-oxycodone, a Class IV felony. A driving under suspension charge was dismissed as part of the plea deal.
Knowlton was arrested in November following a traffic stop.
• Luke Hansen, 32, of Blair and Omrianna Fighter, 30, of Omaha pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a Class IV felony. As part of the plea deal, two counts of possession of a stolen firearm against both Hansen and Fighter were dropped.
The pair were arrested Jan. 24 following a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 75.
• Caleb Alexander, 27, of Omaha pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance-diazepam, a Class IV felony.
Alexander was arrested Aug. 12 following an altercation with his brother at 2098 County Road 49, Omaha.
• Buomkouth Ngut, 22, of Omaha pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a Class IV felony. Ngut was arrested on two Douglas County warrants in June following a traffic stop in Fort Calhoun.
Ngut was taken to the Washington County, where a search found prescription pills.
All five plan to make application to drug court. If they are not accepted, each could be sentenced for the charges.
