Connie Betts, Harrison County Conservation Board Naturalist, presented two programs on Monarch butterflies at the Missouri Valley Public Library on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
The participants in the program learned about the life cycle of the amazing butterfly, its food requirements, and finally, about it’s amazing migration to Mexico.
Several monarchs were tagged at each event and then released outside the library.
