Grad student from Ute presents at Oral Competition in Des Moines

Bethany Mordhorst, a native of Ute and a graduate student at North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D., presented at the Midwestern Section of the American Society of Animal Science and American Dairy Science Association Conference held in Des Moines March 17-19 in the Graduate Student Masters Oral competition.

Mordhorst received first place for her presentation entitled, “Influence of early gestational nutrient restriction on vascularity in beef cow placentomes.”

Mordhorst is the daughter of Jeff and Laurie Mordhorst of Ute. She will be finishing her Masters program this spring and starting in the PhD program at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo., in July.
