Blair FC goalkeepers earn top finishes
Blair Football Club (FC) goalkeepers Evelyn Bruck and Lauren Wimer recently earned top finishes during a Keeper Wars tour stop at Omaha's Tranquilty Park.
Both soccer players earned second in their age divisions. Bruck, a Blair FC Lightning player, was second in the 12U-13U girls division.
Wimer, meanwhile, took second in the 10U-11U girls division. She plays for the Blair FC Madrid team.

FCHS basketball teams host pizza event
The Fort Calhoun High School boys and girls basketball teams hosted a Pizza with the Pioneers event last Friday.
The hoops teams hosted open practices at 4:30 p.m. before youth players in grades 2-8 joined them for a clinic. The entire group then ate a pizza dinner to cap the evening.

AYS wrestling starts practice
The Arlington Youth Sports (AYS) wrestling team began practices Nov. 15.
The organization had two practices its first week and hosts one 6:30 p.m. today before a Thanksgiving Day break. All AYS practices are expected to be in the Arlington Elementary Blue Gym this season.
