YMCA Swim Team competes in Columbus

The Blair Family YMCA Swim Team competed in Columbus last weekend with multiple youth athletes cutting seconds from their times, according to coach Skylar Tatreau.
Colin Busboom dropped 1.84 seconds from his 50-yard backstroke time, while Isabel Chrans cut 1.64 from her 50 freestyle, 21 from her 100 IM and 1.52 from her 50 breaststroke.
Malachi Chrans swam the 25-yard backstroke and cut 3.62 seconds, too.
Blair's Emma Hernandez swam her first 100 butterfly race and also cut 2.01 from her 50-yard backstroke. Lily Moore was 1.34 seconds faster in the 100 backstroke, while also 2.23 faster in the 50 freestyle and 3.32 quicker in the 200 IM.
Hunter Moore cut time in the 50 freestyle (0.2), 100 breaststroke (0.63) and 100 freestyle (2.39), while Cooper Norine stopped the 50 freestyle clock in 3.29 less seconds.
The Barracudas host their home meet Dec. 3 at the YMCA.
