William “Bob” Wilson, age 81, of Blair, passed away March 16, 2021. A memorial service for Bob Wilson will be held May 22, 2021, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, at 11 a.m.
Bob was born on Sept., 5, 1939 in Omaha. He was raised on the family farm in Blair, and attended Blair schools, graduating in 1957. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and served for four years. On July 20, 1963, he was united in marriage to Helen Olson. Bob worked for 41 years at Valmont until his retirement in 2011. Bob always enjoyed being busy; he mowed lawns for countless people and cemeteries in Washington County over the years.
Bob is survived by his wife Helen; children: Ed, Elizabeth (Todd), and Emily (Travis); and granddaughter Claire.
