Washington Co Board of Equalization The Board met at 10:00 am on Tue, July 13, 2021 in the Supervisor’s meeting room at the Courthouse in Blair, Nebr. Present: Chairman Steve Dethlefs, Co Board Members, Jordan Rishel, Lisa Kramer, Bob Frahm, Jay Anderson and Steven Kruger. Absent: Kevin Barnhill. Also present, Co Clk Barbara Sullivan, Co Assr Steve Mencke, Dpty Jean Ray and Co Reviewer Deb Lupardus. Board unanimously approved the agenda for 7/13/21and the minutes of the 6/22/21 meeting. Chairman said the Property Valuation Protest Form 422 for each protest filed, along with the referee’s recommendation and any other information the property owner supplied as a record of the proceedings, is on file in the Co Clk’s office. William Kaiser, Kaiser Appraisal Services, is the referee that met with people filing a property valuation protest. The following protests were considered: Chase Kratochvil (TL 3, Sec 8-18-10) Owner signed waiver. Board unanimously concurred with Referee and Assr to value at $130,010. Kevin Barnhill entered the meeting. Board voted unanimously to give the Co Assr the ability to consider Homestead Exemptions for Jon Cady, Marjorie Dyas and James & Michelle Price. Board unanimously approved Valuation Corrections 1149 & 1150 as presented by the Assr. Board voted to approve Valuation Changes 2587-2590, 2592-2593 as presented by the Assr.
