The Arlington High School football team scored five rushing touchdowns of 10 yards or more during its playoff-clinching win against the Fort Calhoun Pioneers in 2007.
The 42-19 victory kept the Eagles' season going.
Altogether, Taylor Johnson, Kyle Reinhardt and Nick Mohon combined for six AHS scores. The longest was the Eagles' first against the Pioneers — Johnson's 62-yarder.
Tyrone Amos, Alex Frary and Taylor Teeter, meanwhile, scored Fort Calhoun touchdowns in defeat. Frary and Teeter caught scoring passes from Pioneers quarterback Kenny Chacon.
Arlington advanced into the Class C1 playoffs after the FCHS win, finishing out the '07 campaign with a 1-1 postseason showing. The Eagles defeated Wahoo 32-29 before bowing out of the championship tournament against Syracuse, 42-21.
