Thomas Alfred (Tom) Sick, age 84 of Blair, passed away Oct. 2, 2022.  Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair.
 Thomas Alfred (Tom) Sick was born on Jan. 21, 1938, to Alfred and Gussie (Scheffler) Sick of Blair. Tom grew up in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1955. He attended Dana College and the University of Iowa before taking a job at Physicians Mutual Insurance Company in Omaha, where he worked until his retirement. He married Judy Jensen in 1963 and the couple lived in Omaha. Tom and Judy had two children – Brad, born in 1965 and Mitch in 1968 – before the family moved back to Blair in 1973.
Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman, handyman, Little League coach, school board member, and board member of the Washington County Historical Society. He was also a devoted father and grandfather, and a mentor, advisor and role-model to many, including family friend Marty Misfeldt of Blair.
Tom passed away at Crowell Home in Blair on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022. He was 84.
He is survived by his sons Brad Sick and his wife Grace Elliott, of Vancouver, Canada,  and Mitch Sick and his wife Gaby of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and his grandchildren Andrew and William Sick of Los Angeles, Alex Sick of Ames, Iowa, and Bella Sick of Elkhorn.
