Thank you to those who give

Eight new tubas. More than 500 Chromebooks. A new press box.

These are just a few things Blair Community Schools students would not have without the generosity of volunteers and donors who have taken it upon themselves to support the school district in any way possible.

The Blair Fine Arts Boosters are currently fundraising for eight new concert tubas for the Blair High School band. The tubas, which cost $5,600 each, were last replaced in 1999.

Two Rivers Bank recently donated $10,000 toward Chromebooks for K-2 students to allow the district to become 1-to-1. They also donated $5,000 for a new Hall of Fame digital kiosk at BHS.

Cubby's has pledged since 2018 to donate $1 to BCS for every large pizza they sell. To date, the company has donated nearly $10,000.

The Blair Bear Backers, established as a volunteer organization with the mission to provide in-kind and financial support to BHS athletics and activities, donated $115,000 to be used for the recent renovation of the Krantz Field press box.

Without these donations, what would the school district look like? How would it fund some of the much needed items for its programs?

There are numerous other organizations, businesses and individuals who have stepped up to help BCS offer the best place where all students to learn. They all should be commended for their efforts and deserve a big thank you.
